That's the real issue. 10%? 50%? 95%. I haven't a clue, but I'm going to guess that it simply isn't all that large a percentage.

On a personal note, because of the pandemic, I'm driving a lot less than I used to, mainly because the various long drives I used to make to science fiction things didn't happen for two years. They have resumed, hooray! but I'm still not driving as much as I did in 2019. Plus, my car is a Honda Fit, which is quite economical on gas. Okay, so it's not a pure electric vehicle (which have other issues that aren't generally addressed) but it's quite wonderful. As an aside, the only complaint I have about my Fit is that the gas tank is really quite small, and even though the mileage is good, the small gas tank means I have to stop for gas slightly more often than I did with my previous car, a Honda Civic. Sigh. I have adjusted, and I really do love my Fit.

I hope every single person who reads this loves their car every bit as much as I love mine. What a wonderful world, right?
