I am betting it won't get thrown out of court like Palin's case did.

I am betting they will use the Tucker Carlson defense though, "Watters is an idiot and no reasonable person should believe what he is saying is true."

While I would like the libel and slander laws to stay as they are, I am almost tempted to want Thomas and Gorsuch to tighten them up. Fox and right wing media would be decimated WAY before any damage was done to traditional media.
