3. I can understand that feeling, and I love Hillary, but she was also deeply damaged in 2016.

From decades of right wing smears, Benghazi, etc. When the Comey letter dropped 10 days before the election, polling showed her lead in critical swing states falling into the margin of error. Like I said, I absolutely love her and think she's amazing, but she was pretty deeply unpopular with a lot of voters that were on the fence, and Trump managed to capitalize on that using misogyny and then Russian disinformation campaigns.

If you want an example, Hillary got 581K votes in the 2016 Michigan primary. Four years later, Joe Biden got 840K. Decades of smears from the right wing propaganda machine absolutely did a number on her and made millions of Americans across the county believe they couldn't trust her.
