Many years ago when we would go to one of our favorite pizza joints it was not uncommon to see little "pre-walkers" and toddlers crawling under tables and "grazing" on pieces of pizza crust and whatever else they found that diners had dropped on the floor while their parents chatted away seemingly oblivious to what their kids were doing.

Maybe it's getting worse? I don't know, I haven't been to a restaurant in nearly two years.
