this "wounded Warriors" charity I find irksome. Our country sends them off to be wounded or killed in stupid unwinnable wars based on lies and the voracious never ending hunger of our grotesque military-industrial-congressional-complex.

If our government has the money to go to war, they should have the money to take care of all those that lost parts of their bodies, lives and humanity for the benefit of war profiteering sociopaths.

Harry Truman used to prosecute war profiteers. Now we elect them.

Come to think of it, my beloved home state of liberal Democratic Connecticut is home base for a lot of major MIC corporations. Electric Boat, UTC, Pratt and Whitney, Sikorsky and some others.
