There are definitely people like Boebert, Greene, Gosar, and Roy, who are not very intelligent. Most Conservative leaders know that they are lying. They also know that their supporters are very ignorant, not very intelligent, and they WANT to be lied to.

Not one of DeSantis' supporters will actually even know what CRT is. They will not do any objective research into the Theory or where it is taught.

I would like to see the text of the bill. I am sure that CRT is mentioned, but the focus is actually any anti-racist curricula and the accurate teaching of US history that offends the White Supremacy of Florida's parents.
