(149,849 posts)So, they didn't get vaccinated against COVID-19 and someone is in the hospital, near death. Now, that person refused to get vaccinated because "whatever reason." Close to death, they wildly search for anything that might save that life, whether it is the person who is dying or a close relative. At that point, they want anything they've heard might work. And, if you don't provide it, they don't blame their failure to get vaccinated. They blame you for not providing the "life-saving" remedy.
There is no logic involved. Just magical thinking. Sadly, so many have died who could have gotten vaccinated and avoided illness and death. But, once they're on a ventilator, it's too late for that, so bring in the wackadoo ideas. Never mind that none of them have saved anyone's life. It doesn't matter if your thought processed now include magic.
