Like here in Florida, one of the the demographic groups that is the most highly vaccinated, white people over 65, also votes the most Republican. While some solid Democratic demographic groups, like Black voters here, are the least vaccinated and have a higher Covid mortality rate.

People like fantasizing about it though, like the ICUs are just full of people wearing red MAGA hats, but in reality many areas see a disproportionate amount of their Democratic voting minority population, who also can tend to be in worse health mainly due to higher poverty, affected by the virus.
