6. Are there psychiatrists who are not "clinical" by profession?

I know that there are different kinds of psychologists, and "clinical" is one of them. Psychiatrists are normally just referred to with one word.

But my other issue with McDonald is that he does NOT cite clinical studies that affirm the effectiveness and safety of ivermectin. Why not? I suspect that his approval of the drug is not backed up by "clinical expertise," not by peer-reviewed research, not by professional organizations. IMO, McDonald's not speaking with scientific authority. If he claims that he is, where does he get it? Who in the world of research is leading or conducting studies that affirm McDonald's assertions? The quick answer is "nobody." Because "nobody" has submitted breakthrough research that verifies McDonald's claims.
