When I bought my car about 7 years ago, it came with a 3-month sub so I just rolled it into my current sub when the free part was up. I even got a couple "tabletop" style streaming radios over the years so I can stream from other rooms in the house over my wifi (which was especially helpful during those days when the satellite signal was acting up (or they were doing maintenance or something) and I could at least switch to that to hear something when my regular receivers were getting no bars.

The phone app can be a pain because like a lot of streaming services, they will suddenly pause after maybe 90 minutes and ask if you are "still listening", forcing you to hit "ok" (or whatever) to continue the stream. At least the tabletop streaming receivers have software in them that automatically keeps the connection "alive" and doesn't have those pauses.

I did get the app downloaded on my TV (Samsung) and on my Xbox a few years ago just to test, but don't need to use those for obvious reasons.
