"Terrorists" might be able to kill American citizens, but had no hope of taking down America directly. OTOH, domestic terror, the stupidity and gullibility of a large percentage of the American people, coupled with a party determined to drive us towards dictatorship, can, and has done, far more damage. We are certainly less secure now than ever before.
