17. They don't have birthplace citizenship anymore in Germany

When you’re 14 , I think, you apply for citizenship even born in Germany to foreign nationals. So Americans born on base, American by birth if both parents are American. If born in Germany to say Turkish parents, the child has to go through the process just like the parents do. Language tests etc.
