It's been a consistent note through all their perambulations, from attacking from outside and openly advising people to not vote Democratic (as in 2016) to current actions from officially within. Both have spent years equating Democrats with Republicans in intractable shared-evil narratives. Killer's famous agressive hostility toward politicians:
