From Bernays to Chomsky to magic/hypnotism/mentalism, we have been bombarded by techniques to control the populace. It seems that the CIA/military psyop techniques we use on other populations are now legal to use on domestic populations. I'm not sure the legality makes much difference since these techniques have been employed by politicians, marketers, and public relations specialists forever.
