arms & participate in an insurrection. That said, just a few would be enough to cause enormous damage. I don't mean to minimize or trivialize the situation here.

On msnbc's Brian Wms show tonight the pundits were discussing how the rise of the Con was due to his coalescing the white supremacists, those disgruntled with the government, and anarchists in general. His egging them on, using social media as a bullhorn to amplify their collective grievance and hate...all of this led up to the tremendous increase in these groups' numbers.

I think people get caught up in the crazy and the key to reducing this is tamping down on the domestic terrorists. The election of Obama as the first Black president really riled up membership in RW groups, and all throughout his 2 terms they fomented hate. Then along comes the mob boss Con with his popularist celebrity and he manages to opportunistically direct their hate, anger and grievance to his advantage. He is the culmination of many years of GOP lies and pandering to this faction of the electorate, fed a steady diet of Faux news & other RW media. He validated them as "patriots", emboldened them and normalized them.

Bottom line, racism and white supremacy is the base of trump. Weeding out, banning domestic terrorism and keeping them in check must be a constant of both state & federal agencies. Clamp down & their numbers will again be kept to a much smaller amount. There will always be yahoos and fringe groups. Being vigilant, denouncing them and keeping them in check is the key.
