respect them.

I generally do not like to see people get killed.

However, in these strange times, I wrestle with the fact that over 3,600 people died of Covid today. I would think that many of those people did not "deserve" to have that disease foisted on them, and to basically die in obscurity except to those who knew and loved them.

I feel more for innocent people who have been shot by police. I feel more for those who were killed for minor infractions.

I can't say for certain whether this young woman "deserved" to die or not, because "deserve" is subjective. But I do wonder about what in her background eventually lead to her stupidity and apparent complete lack of awareness about what might happen to her if she tried to stuff a duffle bag through a broken window with a mob, in order to get to members of a sitting congress.
