Obama response: Crickets...
Why was that?
Here's why: Solyndra and the constant bullcrap criticism from the reich wing-- "the government should
not be in the business of picking winners and losers".
Tell that to China, who's heavily state subsidized solar panel manufacturer Suntech is kicking our ass
in this market-- in fact Suntech's panels have been installed at at least one military base in CA; I believe
it's Edwards Air Force base.
Wind energy incentives are set to expire this year-- and guess what? due to "austerity" fever in congress,
I think it's safe to assume congress is stupid enough to let these credits expire.. weaken the industry in
our nation-- and thus throw open the door to Chinese (or EU) manufacturers to come in.
weak, very weak.
