70. paraphrase: "when a liberal refutes the lie, conservatives become more likely to believe the lie."

How many times did we see this during Iraq?

They would parrot some nonsense floating around Free Republic and give a link to World Nut Daily, Newsmax or the Moonie Times and we would tell them it's not true and link to a "normal" site to prove it. Then they would claim the site is "Liberal" and "biased" and proclaim they were right all along and call us idiots and saunter off in victory as we watched in disbelief.

That pattern holds for EVERYTHING.

Example: An Idiot claims a Frisbee flies further if you throw it upside down. You tell them it's not true and link to an official site telling them how to throw a Frisbee. They tell you the site is obviously anti-American and Liberal. You tell them it's not and they claim an ad there is linked to Soros,....They then leave, tossing a Frisbee into their shoes.
