NC. Have been gone many decades, but it still has my heart.

So one on my list was to a woman in Newland. It’s a small place, where my close childhood friend and hubs live on acreage. They’re very liberal in that sea of red, but their friends are liberal too so they manage fine.

Anyway, I looked up the person to see where in Newland she lived, and stumbled upon her party affiliation. She’s a registered republican. I stared at the envelope and my 55-cents worth of stamps.

Did I say I had 260 to mail? I meant 259.
