22. Soups are easy.

Let him take over the sandwich department, you take over the soups.

Find some leftovers, throw them in a pot with a broth or a cream sauce. (Cream sauce is super easy to make-just a bechemal and thin it for soup). Add leftover meat if you like, add rice or pasta if you like. Heck, leftover mashed potatoes work as an excellent thickening agent. Fruit can be added to some soups for a nice flavor-apples are always nice, as is citrus zest. Always cook on low for soup-the longer it cooks, the better it tastes. Add herbs and spices to your liking.

I just love making soup.
