If Trump lives through this he will be considered a resurrected God by the Republicans.

He's obviously taking his treatment into his own hands and doing some extremely dangerous things.
Dangerous to himself and others.
He relies completely on his robust luck which has served him well his whole life.
He seems to think he can do anything he wants and reality will never, ever catch up.
If he survives, this will be confirmed and his godlike image to Republicans will increase dramatically.

It seems the only thing that would change this calculation is if he dies.
If others die due to his actions it won't make any difference to Republicans but if he dies the floor will drop out from under them.

If he makes it through this, his base, and his dangerous views on public health, will be set firmly in Republican stone.
