how much pleasure they take in Americans not going out to buy cheap plastic crap made in China for a few months. And maybe we'll find that we really don't need that much of it.

Here's hoping that the "captains of industry" (as they were called in my 1975 accounting class) of the Fortune 500 realize that they made a big mistake trying to outsource so very many necessary things to pollution-heavy Chinese factories.
