This morning I turned on MSNBC and after 3 minutes of Chris Mathews I was SCREAMING at the TV. [View all]

He was droning on about "Democrats are already losing the battle talking about procedure while Republicans are winning with wall-to-wall Dershowitz hawking 'No Crime'"

You know the way Tweety just keeps repeating whatever passes for his one thought for the day. It drove me crazy!

I was so mad I switched to CNN and then began to fire off an angry message to MSNBC to get that idiot off the air!

But something happened....while I was typing, Chuck Schumer was giving a news conference and he was going on and on about how everything was so unfair. It was so boring that I started studying his male pattern baldness. Holy crap! Mathews was right. This process argument is good for about 2 minutes and then it's just a broken record.

It occurred to me that if each of our Senators started their news conferences by explaining that, yes, the process IS unfair, so that is why they will now read, out loud, the testimonies from William Taylor, Fiona Hill and Col. Vindman et al, it would then have some meaning to the Americans who are just now starting to pay attention and maybe force the Republicans to admit that evidence if nothing else.
