Then you only are in pain for sorts bursts of time (when the shards are actively moving from the kidney to the bladder). Peeing them out didn't hurt, and they gave me some med to dialate the tube between the kidney and bladder, so that wasn't so bad. Oxycodone took care of any of the other pain I had!

I actually go next week to have a 9mm one blasted. They said it's not coming out any other way.
