apparent cover-up?
Ms. Reid apologized for the posts in her defuncted blog from over 10 years ago, and was clear in that apology that hacking was not involved.
I wonder if Ms. Reid committed hari kari if that would be acceptable to Ms. Miller and others who seem to believe that Joy Reid's contrition wasn't good enough.
Funny how some of these so-called journalists have appointed themselves to be the judge and jury of what constitutes a sufficient apology.
Perhaps some of these so-called purveyors of "honesty" should look in the mirror at their own behavior:
How about the NY Times article which blamed the Democrats for causing the G.O.P. to view climate change as "fake science":
"The Republican Partys fast journey from debating how to combat human-caused climate change to arguing that it does not exist is a story of big political money, Democratic hubris in the Obama years and a partisan chasm that grew over nine years like a crack in the Antarctic shelf, favoring extreme positions and uncompromising rhetoric over cooperation and conciliation."
It then proceeded to make excuses for the republicans by saying "most republicans do not believe climate change is a hoax"
Most Republicans still do not regard climate change as a hoax, said Whit Ayres, a Republican strategist who worked for Senator Marco Rubios presidential campaign. But the entire climate change debate has now been caught up in the broader polarization of American politics.

The so-called journalists do this frequently in their articles, setting up a false equivalency, believing I suspect, that it makes them appear "balanced". What it actually does, is distort the true picture of things.
Perhaps Judy Miller can apologize for those WMDs
