. . .The love of money.

I quoted the Bible verse in Hebrews about the love of money, (not money itself) being the root of all evil on another thread regarding the recent shooting and the NRA's culpability in such events.

Please don't peg me for a Bible-Thumper. I'm just a sucker for an apt quote. I am also, (as you can see from the one sentence) a stickler for accuracy.

Regarding Mrs. Trump 3.0, sometimes I feel sorry for her; sometimes I don't. She is a mother with a child to consider. And as an attractive woman in a given culture (a culture I can't claim to know very well) she may have been inculcated with the idea that beauty was her only power and marrying well was the only secure option for a decent life.

But it does suck how many stressed out, impoverished women in this country are wearing themselves out trying to take care of their children, when Melania's hair care costs could cover their rent. (Maybe. What do I know? I washed my hair this morning with $ .88 shampoo.)
