1. Here's the thing:

Maxwell is playing the game of "If Mommy says 'no,' then ask Daddy".

If SCOTUS won't allow her to leave prison, then TSF will.

Sure, he'll hesitate, hem and haw, and then pardon her.

Not only will TSF give Maxwell a reward for not snitching on him, but he'll stick his finger in the eye of the federal prosecutors who tirelessly worked to try and convict her. (Sort of the rebuff he gave to Chris Christie by not only pardoning Jared Kushner's father, but to make him the Ambassador to France.)

2. this kind of settles 1 thing

if maxwell has epstrin's tapes then kavanaugh and gorsuch are probably not there.

since they certainly are on video (trump would not appoint them without that control) trump has the tapes (or they think he does.)
