Is that statement in itself obscene? About 4:10 into the video.
It's absolutely ridiculous to even consider a bill that has the phrase "prurient interests" in it.
Who decides what's obscene? It's very subjective; not actually able to have a universal definition.
This bill has no chance, mainly because so many million Republicans enjoy what would be legally defined as porn.
We're a nation deeply obsessed with pornography, but expressing a very deep religious guilt about how much we enjoy it. So how deep does it go into our culture. And is the word "deep" sexually suggestive.
Is the cartoon Beavis and Butt-head, where every statement has a sexual connotation, just a caricature of life?

I think the actual sexual perversion is in the obsession some people have with playing porno cop with everything we read, see, hear, say, think, and do.
