In case you missed it: Donald Trump scored a win in court, allowing him to violate due process laws. It has also been revealed that Trump is causing the death of Americans, including children. Meanwhile, Texas Governor, Ken Paxton is busy protecting literal neo-Nazis.

Volkswagen was very supportive of the union, as I recall. And, yes, I was surprised, but apparently the car maker has long preferred so-called "union shops" because it prevented wildcat strikes and enabled actual dialog between labor and management.

So, deal done, both sides happy, right?

Wrong. The then pre-Fascist Republican Party intervened and quashed the deal.

Checked and found it took place in 2014.
