Lawrence: Trump's WSJ suit claims he's been damaged. Epstein is the one who did a lot of damage. - The Last Word - MSNBC

Donald Trump says that he has been “damaged” in his lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal. Trump argues that The Journal falsely claimed he sent Jeffrey Epstein a “bawdy” letter on his birthday card.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell reminds us of who the real damaged victims are in the story of the man Trump called a “terrific guy,” Jeffrey Epstein. - Aired on 07/18/2025.

Virginia Giuffre, who accused Britain’s Prince Andrew and other influential men of sexually exploiting her as a teenager trafficked by financier Jeffrey Epstein, has died. She was 41.

Giuffre died by suicide Friday at her farm in Western Australia, her publicist confirmed.

“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors,” her family said in a statement. “Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright. She will be missed beyond measure.”

Her publicist Dini von Mueffling described Giuffre as “deeply loving, wise and funny.”

3. When she killed herself a few months ago the media said she lied

This poor woman was trashed by the media from almost every country, even AFTER she died.

I read about her and when this new BS came up again everyone acts like this is new. The media questioned whether or not she was in a bus accident, had renal failure and was dying. Instead they focused on her husband taking out a restraining order against her and her children and that she was not physically abused by him.

The media SUCKS!!!!

This BS media coverage is destroying lives. No wonder I turn off the TV news. It is 100% shit! Next week if will 100% different. It always is.

It's a "man's" world. They are 49% of the world population but they have no plans on being a "minority" unfortunately. Power and $$$$ is their agenda, always has been and always will be. I'm a realist.

8. Damn good question! Turns out that it was Epstein rather than 34 felonies and fomenting an insurrection!
