businesses were successful and he filed for bankruptcy multiple times. He was never a successful businessman. They were fooled by "reality tv".
It also helps that he is a racist and they like that.

I worked with the TV networks (CBS) and never was even aware of it.

They did a survey of people who voted for the orange turd and they said he was a good businessman because they watched the apprentice. It was on NBC for 15 years, so I assume it was a very popular show.

The reality shows are scripted and produced. They saw in trump a strong decisive man who was as mean spirited as they were. There was a show in the 50’s called the millionaire and folks would harass the studio trying to find a man that didn’t exist. Many people in America are gullible, think of q anon
