It wasn't considered in danger during the cold war when the US was concerned about real attacks from Russia, which never happened. Plus Trump is claiming that Putin is his friend.

thank you to Denmark and Greenland. Why won't you say thank you to them? If you said it, say it more. He's suckin up to Greenland to get their rare earth minerals. He's shitting all over Denmark. He's shitting all over Ukraine to shake them down like a mafia don. Some day, alienating Europe from the U.S. will come back to bite the U.S. in the butt. Russia, JD is a fraction of what the EU is.
