Ali Velshi is very good - and we know he just got back from the front lines, glad he's home. Rhiannon12866 Oct 2023 #2

Oh, I completely agree! He's the one on MSNBC who can - and has - substitute for anyone else! Rhiannon12866 Oct 2023 #4

This is going to be a big, long mess if Hamas is so interwoven in the civilians' lives. All I see are problems ahead.

And I certainly agree with you. This has gone on for decades, but this has to be the worst it's gotten, my heart goes out to those poor innocent people - on both sides - trapped there.

I swear - what can’t he do?

First class field reporting, political reporting, war coverage, disaster coverage, the works! And he anchors with gravitas and credibility too. He’s seriously impressive! Smart. Versatile. Fearless. Thorough. Trusted.

I hope they’re paying him well. He deserves it.

And do a flawless job. There was one time a few weeks ago when he took over Nicolle Wallace's two-hour show, then did another show later, I think it was Alex Wagner's show at 9. And tomorrow he's substituting for Lawrence O'Donnell. And not only did he just return from covering the war in Israel, he also reported from the Ukraine border when that war started. And when TFG was going after protesters a few years back, he reported from the front lines there, I remember I was watching when he was hit in the leg by a rubber bullet! He's also fearless on his own weekend show, he speaks out and has guest authors for his "banned book club."
