Democratic Primaries

Should I act surprised when Our Revolution endorsees endorse Bernie Sanders?
Very good Congress members or officials have endorsed Bernie Sanders recently.
Namely, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-cortez And Ilhan Omar, all of whom owe their victoriesb in great part to the Bernie Sanders' aligned Our Revolution PAC, founded by his national co-chair Nina Turner.
Should we go "OMG this is huge" every time these Our Revolution candidates endorse the candidate that everyone expected them to endorse?

I wonder if the FEC reminded them that they can't get into political campaigns (Our Revolution, at least) or is it just that their records were so bad it was embarrassing?
I don't have OR's tally, but in 2018 Justice Democrats endorsed 79 candidates, a mere 7 won (three were incumbents anyway)

(6,319 posts)I am always amazed how much support Bernie gets from blue collar workers in swing states (of all ages) and majority of folks under 30 love Bernie. He is not my preferred candidate but if he gets the nomination Ill support his campaign in any way I can 100%. He seems to connect to those who dont usually vote so expanding dem electorate. Ive come to realization that Bernie had enormous influence on democratic party positions, I feel like he sets the conversation now in every debate and, unfortunately, I am not seeing that tireless energy from Joe.
Bernie tapped into the single most important issue of our time - universal health care with no excuses. Full stop. Very powerful argument, and everyone other dem sounds like a typical politician trying to fight against it, not able to have clear and concise message against it.
Interesting thing is, I think election of trump made Bernies victory far more likely, the country seems to be ready for the revolution and end of incrementalism. Revolution means - dramatic expansion of dem house and senate majoriy enabling reshaping of SC with many more justices that will help transition the worlds largest capitalist country into democratic socialist regime.

And we matter, A LOT
Gen Z, Millennials and Gen X outvoted older generations in 2018 midterms

and NO, we are not (not even close, not even a majority, let alone uniformly) mostly in the Sanderite camp, as your reply implied
so sick of the 'anti-post Boomer' (especially against us Gen Z'ers and Millennials) casual and snide prejudice I see here with far too often regularity

(294 posts)...are allowed to participate in politics, so long as politics do not become their primary focus. What that means in practice is that they must spend less than 50 percent of their money on politics. So long as they don't run afoul of that threshold, the groups can influence elections, which they typically do through advertising.

and as I already posted, as of the 2018 SCOTUS action, they have to disclose
