Not an unreasonable hunch... but probably as evidence based as your speculation or mine. I don't think Nate is any wiser as a pundit than anyone else.

about the Tulsi Twit, plenty to allow thinking people to make up their minds. Nobody will ever sway the tRUMP cultists but they're statistically in the minority anyway. There you go. Thanks, Nate.

Because all I see is Jill Stein 2.0. Still amazed at how Hillary Clinton called this despite all the caterwauling after the fact.

But then, Hillary has always been amazing. Btw, she's giving a wonderful eulogy for Elijah Cummings.

Trump has done nothing for 3 years but repeatedly pander to the most extreme elements of his base. Those 40% aren't going to leave him for Tulsi Gabbard. Its the independents that make up the next 6% that he got in 2016 that are embarrassed by his ignorance and hatefulness... they will probably vote Democrat in 2020 if they don't stay home because they despise Trump. Someone like Gabbard could siphon them off by providing a conservative alternative to the Democratic candidate who is at least not obviously insane and racist. In short, I don't think anyone will be on the fence about Trump, so I don't think a 3rd party candidate hurts him as much as whoever is running against him.

Russians and Republicans will push and amplify her attacks on Democrats from the "left." Tulsi is even worse than Berni in that she is even more shameless about going on Fox to attack Democrats. The more she attacks Democrats, the more attention she gets on Fox and on Russisn backed social media.

This is what Hillary meant about being groomed. Look at how willing and easily Tulsi is ready to sell out and bash Democrats on Fox in response to publicity.
