I'm clueless and hope someone can help

I have a sick kitty and have heard so many wonderful things about cannabis oil that I want to explore the possibility of using that to help sick kitty.

I'm clueless about All Things Cannabis. I live in North Carolina, so there's that.

I've reached out to more enlightened friends who live in other states but no one has experience beyond smoking marijuana.

Can anyone here point me in the right direction re: medicinal uses in pets -- information and products?

Thanks much.

and eventually led me to this business:

http://www.cannaforpets.com/

It can be shipped to all states because Canna Companion contains <0.3% THC (tested by a local non-affiliated company for quality assurance), is made from Cannabis sativa, and is not intended for human consumption, it meets the current definition of hemp supplements under Unites States federal law.

I have a friend with a malignant brain tumor who is using cannabinoids, but she is still doing chemo.

It can't hurt.

A friend of mine-medical cannabis patient - had a very, very old and arthritic dog - had to keep the door closed to his grow area because this poor dog would literally defoliate the plant and eat the flowers...then go lay down, stretch out and sleep. He did give it to the dog, but in more measured doses.
I don't know anything about cats.
Vets in CA are treating pets with cannamedicines...so, you might search CA Vets and maybe call for additional info.

Good luck!

I found a few options thanks to you guys!

I'm waiting for this place to call me back so I can place a rush/overnight order:

Anecdotal stories and testimonials are fine, but what does your vet say to treat the problem?

Poor guy had a tooth extraction but has been having a horrible time recovering from that surgery. I've taken him in regularly for IV fluid and supportive therapy. They did an ultrasound Monday and found a mass, which they are certain is fibrosarcoma from the rabies injection they had to legally give him in order to perform surgery (he's always been an indoor kitty).

Other than going to veterinary oncology and putting him through the ringer, which I will not do, there is nothing to be done. He's 12.

Hence, my search.

But a friend of mine found out two years ago that his Bernese Mountain, a large dog had a cancerous tumor near her back leg. Removing most of the tumor left a large nasty looking wound (think raw ground meat)

I gave him some of my canna-oil. He put some on the wound which healed incredibly quickly. Since that time, he has given her a 1/8 tsp in her food twice a day.

She is not only alive today two, years later, but passed the age most Bernese Montain dogs die by a year.

Dosage seems to be the only problem w/vets.

I wish your kitty well!

I'm researching, trying to determine whether or not applying Nutiva hemp oil topically over the tumor area would be a good or bad idea.

I'm in NC so I can't get anything.

would not hurt, but I don't think it would help either since it does not contain the healing properties of cannabis. I sure wish it was legal to send some through the mail.

I am so sorry you live in N.C. and can't get it. I was born there and glad I live on the west coast now.
