Former Notre Dame forward Liatu King signs hardship deal with Los Angeles Sparks
LOS ANGELES (WNDU) - Former Notre Dame women’s basketball forward Liatu King has signed a hardship contract with the Los Angeles Sparks.
A hardship deal allows a team to add a player beyond the normal roster limit because the team has suffered many injuries and have a hardship.
King was drafted by the Sparks in the third round of this year’s draft. But with limited roster spots, WNBA draft picks don’t always make rosters, so this is big for her.
King will wear No. 4 for the Sparks.
