No Hard Feelings (2023)

Even though I’ve been a huge Jennifer Lawrence fan for years, I somehow never got around to seeing No Hard Feelings until last night, when I finally watched it on Blu-ray — and I’m really glad I did.

I honestly had a blast with it. It felt like the kind of unapologetic, slightly outrageous romantic comedy that we don’t get much anymore. There was this subtle 80s/early 90s vibe running through it — the bold premise, the awkward-but-sweet chemistry, the mix of crude humor and genuine heart. It reminded me of the era when comedies weren’t afraid to be a little messy and a little sincere at the same time.

Jennifer Lawrence was fantastic — confident, chaotic, vulnerable, gorgeous, and hilarious all at once. She really carried the movie with that perfect balance of sharp comedic timing and emotional authenticity. By the end, I was surprised by how much heart it had underneath all the wild moments.

Did anyone else really enjoy this one? I feel like it flew under the radar a bit, but it totally delivered for me.
