Help!

I am getting a warning security message on my computer. It’s from Microsoft that a threat was detected and I have to call a number to have my computer unlocked.

Is this for real? The number is 1-877-280-4530.

I don’t know what to do and it says not to try to shut down my computer on my own

Either Ctrl-Alt-Delete, go to Task Manager, Put your cursor on your web browser, right click and End Task or just hit the power switch or unplug it

Leave it off for awhile. When you turn it on again, the message will be gone. It's a scam.
