The insecure data was a honey pot trap set by DNClinton operatives.

Some people on Sanders' campaign staff fell for the trap. Sanders wants to discuss the issues facing Americans, not a political dirty trick worthy of Dick Nixon's fixers.

So the smartest move is to immediately fire the folks who did not sniff out the trap that was purposefully set for them. It's called damage control. It happens to almost every campaign at one point or another.

But this is particularly egregious because the game was so nefariously rigged. It's positively Rovian.

The staffers who secured access to the Clinton data included national data director Josh Uretsky, who was fired on Thursday, and his deputy, Russell Drapkin. The two other usernames that viewed Clinton information were “talani" and "csmith_bernie."

You give Sanders' campaign staff full access to Clinton's data and Clinton's campaign staff full access to Sanders' data.

Then you wait for somebody from Sanders' campaign to take a peak at the data you left out in the open for them so you can play "Gotcha!"

Clinton's staff already had full access to Sanders' data through DNC's administration rights. The game was rigged by the DNC, and the honeypot Clinton data was just part of the rigged game.
