I do leave the house. I struggle with PTSD and it affects so many aspects of my life. Sometimes the panic attacks come from out of the blue.

Sometimes I know one is coming, like when I worked the election. Just too many people and too much noise.

I just find it so ironic that I live in a dark house, wishing I were outside living, and when I'm actually out in the world, I wish for my cave.

I do go to therapy. I journal every day but rarely share what I write.

that looks, at least as bad as me. I smile at em and say Hi. Cost me nothing to be nice.

You need to come up with some new ideas.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
