A poem for my Loner Peeps.
The past is one's loyal shadow
Following silently behind life's path
It can be glanced upon at any time
Revealing it's kindness - or its wrath
It refuses to be forgotten
Yet can so easily be denied
For what has passed into the shadow
Can be ignored - but never can it hide
The past is a curious enigma
Holding onto truth in all it's forms
A darkness lit by shining memories
A light dimmed by raging storms.
I wish each of you a peaceful weekend. Time has a curious way of pulling us along when we fall.
