This is the one DU group I know I should post more in, but haven't.

That has been my very bad. Here's hoping this group sticks around, to console loners like me.

I don't know. There were some interesting discussions on the DU2 Loners group over the years. I remember one, though now I can't seem to find it, about "do you agree with Pope or Swift"? That is, do you find more to like in individual people, or in humanity as a whole.

One of his famous lines was, "I love humanity. It's people I can't stand."

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
