We commemorate the Yom Kippur attack on Yom Kippur.

But apparently we will not wait for Simchat Torah - this year falls on October 24 - to recall last year’s massacre.

Instead, we use the Hebrew word for seven (the masculine form) Shiva.

And appropriately the local Jewish Federation will commemorate the Shivah of October tomorrow.
