Without ever having spent a night there, the Pope has ordered Castel Gandolfo, where popes have holidayed for over 400 years, be turned into a museum.

Granted, it was rather far away -- he was praying the Angelus. But a great memory. He seemed to really enjoy the crowds who came to see him. That in itself was fun as well: people from all over the world with banners, yelling hello in their own languages. He did his best to acknowledge everybody. Cool times.
