We have yet to see the variety of birds we usually get at our backyard feeders. Hubby was thinking he wouldn't put up his hummingbird feeders this summer since we'll be on vacation about 4 wks this summer. Our kids could do it, but they're meeting up with us on our trip to visit gmom, and you have to be so careful to keep the hummingbird nectar fresh. Thought it might be best to stick with the suet, grub, peanuts, and seed feeders for this summer.

I put up two nectar feeders last month, but haven't yet seen a hummingbird at my home in Lancaster, PA.

The crisp details, the astonishing bokeh, the composition of all of these are simply outstanding.

Thank you.

Wonderful portraits. The catbird is especially sweet. They are generally so shy up here, I hear them far more often than I see them.
