Although it has a capacity to drive for 50 or so miles on electric before the ICE kicks in, I rarely drive more the 50 miles per day around town. If I need to drive further, I just use the ICE to provide generated electricity to the drive motor. I can drive without range anxiety. I charge it overnight on a 110v outlet. I have spent around $200.00 on gas in the last two years on it. Electric is the way to go if you can afford the entrance fee.
