(11,185 posts)And as I looked through their inventory, most cars seemed to be priced on the high side imo. They are perhaps the cleanest looking bunch of restored classic cars Ive seen outside of auction though. Everyone is spotless. It feels like one of those ads you might see pop up here and there for a classic car that you order to be made. Mustangs and original Broncos are big in that circle I think.
I would probably look for a classic Porsche 911 or an Aston Martin if I had 170k to blow on a car that would be a garage queen. But thats just me. And the folks that are buying these cars already have both, and a few more.

(7,255 posts)I think it has to do with the modifications. But stock everyting is usually worth more.

(7,255 posts)in his car when I lived in Las vegas. He kept a towel in the car to protect his hand from the thousand degree chunk of metal on the stick shift. Closed cars in the summer got real hot. The plastic knob on my little rag top only got to ambient temps.
