Womens' Basketball Gold, USA vs France

Those last-second intentional fouls committed by France on USA backfired. They were playing better defense and shooting well. Why gift USA with four free throw attempts?

Not that I'm complaining. Awesome comeback by USA in a hard-fought game.

Game shouldn't have been close.
16 turnovers in the first half!
Sloppy offense, bad switching on D, taller players failing to close out on the shooter...
I think nerves got the best of them. The pressure to win 8 golds in a row might have had them spooked.

We did well today considering we didn’t have a true point guard and we had so many injured players ( when you have an old team there are going to be more injuries)

...Caitlin Clark?
Her ball handling & passing would have made this game an easy win, if not a blow-out.
She's the best passer in the WNBA and she wasn't on the team for....reasons.
She WAS on the team that beat the Olympic team just a few weeks ago.
