the mirror reflects nothing except the room around
familiar furniture and objects the cluttered up debris
possessions meant something lost in a background
minimal art which collects that my eyes seldom see
am i the ghost soul or spirit haunting this old house
walking soundlessly at night drifting room to room
tweaking testing every limit in rare ideas to espouse
brief encounters cause fright hesitation enters gloom
senses still seem to respond the seeing and hearing
to smell to taste to touch gathering the information
all sensation ever longed separation and endearing
delicate never too much over the edge of damnation
react in wonder as a stranger sees a shadow pass by
worry of the potential danger as pointing children cry
